Tested the Canon Powershot G1X Mark II
Canon first introduced the PowerShot G1X series in 2012. This camera product line is unique because it is technically a pocket camera with a lens that is permanently attached, but equipped with sensors measuring 1.5 inches which is almost equal to the size of a DSLR camera.

Two years later, Canon introduced its successor, the PowerShot G1X Mark II. This camera brings many changes and fix the many flaws of its predecessor. G1X Mark II, for example, no longer has an optical viewfinder which does have a limited scope.

As a result, this camera also looks more slender with a slightly trimmed up side, though still not exactly "pocketable" or fit in a pocket. This is because the lens is slightly sticking out.

This lens is equipped with two rings. One ring is used to adjust the camera parameters (aperture / shutter speed), while the other is a manual focus ring that can be used to set the focus at any time. Zoom mechanism with knob still run around the shutter button, like a pocket camera.

As an alternative to the LCD screen, G1X
