As was expected, Samsung finally officially introduced its flagship Android smartphone, the Galaxy S5, on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, Spain, on Monday (02/24/2014) local time.
"I do not want to make you wait any longer," said JK Shin, President and CEO Head of IT and Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics, while showing video Galaxy S5 for the first time.
At first glance, the Galaxy S5 has a design that is not much different than that of the Galaxy S4. At the front, there are no significant differences too. There are two soft buttons, which is accompanied by a physical button.
Changes actually seen happen in the back shell of the Galaxy S5. Samsung calls the design of this section with the word "modern glam".

Galaxy S5 supports 4G network connection, Bluetooth 4.0, infra-red, and NFC. As for WiFi, the device uses a component called MIMO WiFi (802.11ac). Samsung claims, WiFi is capable of achieving twice the speed of a standard WiFi.
Samsung Galaxy S5 will be released to the market globally to 150 countries on 11 April. Unfortunately, Samsung has not revealed the price of the device.
