Currently, BlackBerry, in cooperation with Foxconn, known is developing low-end phones that have code names "Jakarta". This device has been rumored to be exhibited at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event.
All eyes now it is looking toward the device Jakarta. How not, BlackBerry expect much so that phones can be, at least, make them survive in the midst of crisis.
However, it seems in 2014, BlackBerry will not only release Jakarta alone. This Canadian company is reportedly preparing another device with different segments, namely the high-end. This product is said to have a code name "Ontario".
News about Ontario was actually already started circulating since the end of 2013. However, information about this new product re-emerged in recent years.
Crackberry is a site that re-blew the news about the product. They claimed to have gained a bit of leaked information about the hardware specs of Ontario.
Leaked information obtained from the test page (benchmarks) from the application Geekbench 3. Apparently, there are BlackBerry employees who conduct testing with Ontario and accidentally upload the results to the virtual world.
From the test results, it appears that this product will use Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB RAM. Uniquely, it has been running on the operating system are much newer than they are today, the BlackBerry 10.3.
Just for information, recently a new BlackBerry released BlackBerry software update 10.2.1.
In these pages, the name of Ontario does not mention. Only the words "Unknown" in the product name. However, based on these specifications, the Crackberry suspect that the product is Ontario.
Until now, BlackBerry still has not commented on the news.
