HTC adds Android smart phone middle class portfolio by introducing a Desire 816 and Desire 610 in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, at the end of February 2014.
Both of these phones adopting the iconic design on HTC One's flagship product, which won a number of awards the best Android phones in 2013.
To Desire 816, there is a wide screen of 5.5 inches which is flanked by two speakers. HTC claims this speaker offers high quality audio.
The performance of the phone is supported by quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.6 GHz speed, 1.5 GB RAM, 2.600mAh battery, 8GB internal memory which can be expanded with the addition of a MicroSD memory card.
In addition to 2G and 3G networks, Desire 816 also supports 4G LTE network. The SIM card used is kind Nanosim.
The camera sensor is used in the Desire 816in the back is 13MP and 5MP in front. The LED flash is available under the rear camera.
While Desire 610, comes with a screen size of 4.7 inches. The screen is also flanked by two speakers. These phones targeting youth segment because it comes with a variety of color choices, namely red, black, green, to white.
Components used in Desire 610 lower than Desire 816, among other quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2 GHz speed, 1GB RAM, 2.040mAh battery, 8GB internal memory which can be expanded with the addition of a MicroSD memory card.
The phone is embedded sensor 8MP camera with LED flash and a 1.3 MP front camera use. Available cell types Nanosim card slot to access the data on 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE.
Desire 816 to be present in global markets from April 2014, while Desire 610 will be available in Europe from May 2014. Unfortunately, HTC did not reveal the price of the two phones.
