Imagine if through a smartphone, you can turn on and turn off the lights, open and close the garage door, car control, and even a cruise ship. It would be practical if we can do it all right? Rob Dorrell, a practitioner of American electro and technology has created My N3RD, read My Nerd, to allow you any control via smartphones. Currently, My N3RD already has a prototype that works well, and stay refining the design of the appliance itself is still a board computer the size of a matchbox.
Way of working My N3RD is basically make your smartphone a remote control for controlling My N3RD that has been installed on the things you want to control. My N3RD applications that existing on the iPhone has been able to turn off or turn on something, to allow you to reprogram in order to perform the task even crazier. Rob has been used for various purposes, such as lights, garage doors, heating, boats, bathtubs, speakers, alarms, and even a coffee maker! Yes, by installing My N3RD the coffee maker, you can make coffee even from your smartphone. Crazy, is not it?
Meanwhile, My N3RD only works for smartphones that use the iOS system, or just Apple products. But Rob confirmed that they are developing a version of Android, and if only on Kickstarter met their targets, making versions for different OS smartphones. To date, Rob received various assistance of at least 5 dollars, to put your name as one of the founders N3RD, until 5000 dollar, which made a formal application N3RD by name or your company, of course, with your own business logo. Currently N3RD trying to collect 50 thousand dollars of their campaign on Kickstarter
