In just six months after the appearance of Xperia Z1, Sony has introduced a new top smartphones models that replaces its position as the flagship device of the manufacturer, the Xperia Z2.
Just over two weeks later, Sony rushed brings Xperia Z2 into the Indonesian market in a launch event scheduled for Wednesday (05/03/2014) afternoon.
Until this news was revealed, the Sony Indonesia has not determined the price or schedule is definitely a matter of availability of Xperia Z2 in this country. Marketing Manager of Sony Mobile Communications Indonesia Ika Paramita said that the Xperia Z2 will probably be released in quarter early 2014 ending in March.

Similar, but not identical
Can not be denied that the Xperia Z2 looks very similar to its predecessor, the Xperia Z1. The design of both are almost indistinguishable when biting, as if Sony took the shell of Z1 and replacing the "inside" with a new component.

Xperia Z2 are already using the latest Android operating system, namely version 4.4 or commonly called "Kitkat". Some typical applications built Sony are included, such as the Walkman music player.
There are a number of changes in appearance, such as the notification bar. However, perhaps the most interesting is the addition new feature of relying on gestures, such as Double-Tap to Wake, where smartphone users can simply tap the screen twice to "wake up" from Sleep state.
There is also a Smart Call Handling that allows users to answer or reject calls by shaking the phone in a certain direction.
However, with the quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor 2.3 GHz and 3GB of RAM embedded on Xperia Z2, performance issues should not have to worry at all by the owners of this device. Xperia Z2 virtually is one of the most powerful smartphones available today, comparable with the flagship models from other manufacturers such as Samsung Galaxy S5.
Video is more powerful
Xperia Z2 camera carries the same specs as the Xperia Z1. Both have 20-megapixel sensor measuring 1/2, 3 inches are located behind the lens "G-lens' focusing f2.0.
